Another successful quiz night run by the Llantwit Major Town Twinning Association
On Saturday 15th February the Llantwit Major Town Twinning Association ran another popular quiz night in the Llantonian Hall.
The quiz was accompa
nied by refreshments of cheese and biscuits and wine or soft drinks. Around 80 people were in attendance and a good time was had by all. The quiz involved history, sports and French rounds with a picture quiz all about France. Finally, Clive Tombs entertained the teams with a music round playing intros to well known pop songs and themes from various musicals. The winning team was awarded individual prizes of a mini bottle of wine in a bag hand woven by Coleen Tombs. The evening was a great success and raised over £750 for Association funds towards hosting the French Town Twinners when they visit early next September. Many thanks are extended to all those who helped organise the event so efficiently.
